This is the inaugural issue of Computology: Journal of Applied Computer Science and Intelligent Technologies and what an unfortunate time to put forward this issue in front of you. The second wave of COVID19 which has been most devastating is going to be over just now and we are in grief of what havoc it has played.

The journal is being started with the purpose to development of new and advanced computer systems around cutting-edge technologies. Computer science is a field which has all three Vs (volume, velocity, and variety) of change, and addressing and keeping track of these quick-paced changes becomes the aim of this journal.

This inaugural issue presents five articles on variety of topics ranging from architecture to intelligent systems. Mukul Varsheny in his article has discussed the performance of Linearly Extensible Multiprocessor Architecture. Multiprocessor systems have become the necessity for fast computations on huge data sets. And thus the various developments are taking place around them.

Jyotismita T. and Basanta B. has presented a comparative study of various schemes available for brain tumor classification. In fact, the penetration of use of intelligent techniques has been increasing day by day in healthcare domain.

A lot of emphasis is being laid down now-a-days to work on the systems which are capable of understanding and interpreting the local languages. Ankit Kumar and his fellow colleague has proposed an QLSTM-based joint-training for noise robust Hindi speech recognition.

The issue also contains a systematic review of the impact of containerization on software development and deployment practices by Sarishma and her colleague and an article on security issue by Prerna Agrawal and Pranav Shrivastava.
